About the Role
We're looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to design and implement the AI systems that power our Intelligence Fabric. You'll work on fascinating problems: understanding how millions of people use Microsoft 365, identifying patterns and opportunities, and creating personalized interventions that actually change behaviour.
This role sits at the heart of what makes redthrd different. You won't just be building models—you'll be shaping how AI can augment human capability in the enterprise.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement ML models for usage pattern analysis and behaviour prediction
- Build recommendation systems that personalize learning content for individual users
- Develop NLP pipelines for content understanding and generation
- Create and maintain feature engineering pipelines for large-scale behavioural data
- Integrate LLM capabilities (Azure OpenAI, GPT-4) into production systems
- Establish ML best practices: experiment tracking, model versioning, monitoring
- Collaborate with product to translate business needs into ML solutions
- Stay current with ML research and evaluate new techniques for our use cases
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in applied machine learning
- Strong programming skills in Python; familiarity with TypeScript a plus
- Experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, scikit-learn, transformers)
- Hands-on experience deploying ML models to production
- Understanding of recommendation systems and/or NLP
- Experience with cloud ML services (Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, or similar)
- Strong statistical foundations and experimental design skills
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Experience with LLMs and prompt engineering
- Background in behavioural science or learning analytics
- Experience with time series analysis and sequential pattern mining
- Published research or conference presentations
- Experience in enterprise SaaS or B2B products
